Anubias Gracilis - Plant Clip

Western Africa is home to several species of Anubias, including Anubias Gracilis. The triangular leaves of 5-10cm on long leaf-stems make Anubias Gracilis one of the most graceful and elegant. It is hardy and tolerant, making it a very good plant for beginners. The plant can grow on rock, wood or can be planted directly into the aquarium substrate. If planted into the substrate, make sure not to cover the rhizome from which leaves and roots appear as this will cause the plant to rot and die. Anubias gracilis may be allowed to grow out of the water, but it will attain a significant size this way.
